Fire Boxes (92)

Description: Fire Boxes within the Salisbury Fire Response Zone. Developed based on the output of a response time analysis. This analysis was used to determine the response order first through fifth due to all 911 addresses in the response zone. Boxes were created based on areas of identical first through fifth response due. Then, Geographic locations of Fire Stations in Wicomico County, Somerset County, Dorchester County, Worcester County, and Southern Delaware that have mutual aid agreements with Wicomico County and the City of Salisbury Fire Chiefs were used to aid the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County Emergency Services with developing a run order for 6st through 20th as a direct path from the station to the fire box. The results of the analysis were delivered to Wicomico County Emergency Services to be ingested into the County Fire CAD system.
